History Store

This exciting amalgam of art, archaeology, costumes, social history and natural science collections can be explored through behind the scenes tours, inspiring education sessions and independent study.  The building was adapted in 2004 using Heritage Lottery Funding  to be state-of-the-art, climate-controlled, optimum conditions for preserving our heritage, one of the first such facilities in the UK.
